Obituary

Arnold Dean Chavez, 62, died August 15, 2018.  Arnold served his country in the United States Army as a squad leader of the 81mm Mortor platoon in the 4th Infantry division 1974-1976.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Delta Chavez. Daughters: Ladonna Drennan and Children, Leigha, Jason, Alex, Romeo, Q, Sir and Cea’sar – along with 5 Great grand babies

Cynthia Kegley, her husband Stace and children, Taylor, Tyson, Tatem, Trystan, Noah, Graycee and his “Little buddy” Kavyn.

Burnadette Hooper and children, Bradden, Gabriella and Cyenna

Christine Pastrana and her husband, Ruben and children, Kevin, Christian and Elizabeth Jessica Chavez (Son-David) and children, Skylar, Payton and Deacon

Arnold was born to Jose and Eledia Chavez in San Antonito, Colorado and moved to Oklahoma in 1977 where he met his beloved wife. Arnold and Delta had a marriage that is rarely seen. Theirs was true adoring , admiring, trusting and a complete devotional love.

Viewing will be planned Monday August 20, 2018 at The Church of the Madelene 5-7:00 pm with Rosary at 7:00pm and Celebration services will be held on Tuesday August 21, 2018 at The Church of the Madelene at 10 AM with graveside services to follow at Ft. Gibson National Ceremony.

  1. Our condolences are not nearly enough to describe the pain we feel for the loss of our beloved Nino. We will miss his phone calls, his laughter, his visits, his jokes but most of all his LOVE. He was like no other man on this earth. Until we meet again Nino we love you Rest Easy
