Obituary
Billie Janice Hawkins, age 86, passed away October 13, 2015 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Billie was born October 3, 1929 in Welty, Oklahoma to Arch Leroy Dyches and Maud Mae Dyches. Billie was a wonderful artist and painter and many family members have some of her paintings hanging in their homes. She was also a longtime member of Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church and was a member of the Moose Lodge. Billie is survived by her loving husband of almost 69 years, Alonzo Clinton Hawkins; her four sons, Larry Hawkins & wife Etta, Jimmy Hawkins & wife Ruth, Robert Hawkins, Mike Hawkins; 7 grandchildren, Lisa Hawkins, Joshua Hawkins, Richard Hawkins, James Hawkins, Carmen Thornton, Timmy Hawkins and Thad Elliott; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by one brother, David Dyches. She was preceded in death by her parents; one child, Billie Louise Hawkins; 2 sisters, Charity & Peggy and four brothers, John, Harlin, Jim and Archie. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home located at 2103 E. 3rd Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74104. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, October 17th, 2015 at Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church located at 714 N. Harvard, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74115

What a beautiful service for a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Will be thinking of her family in the days to come. She will be missed by many family members and friends.
