Obituary

Billy Barnes was born on September 24, 1961, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Lola and Clarence Barnes Sr. He was a proud graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Class of 1980, where he developed a lifelong love for basketball and football and was known as an outstanding, hardworking, dependable athlete.

Billy had a natural gift and a creative visual mind that reflected his passion, vision, and originality. He was also one who took joy in giving back to his community and those around him, making a huge impact on many.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Lola and Clarence Barnes Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory; his children: Dawnesha (Qae), Mekeis (Keke), Brandon, and Kanika, who blessed him with a host of grandchildren; his siblings: Jeanetta, Clarence Jr., Larry, and Howard; Significant other Sheila Harbert along with a host of family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives he touched.
