Obituary

August 7, 1982 – October 15, 2013 On October 15, 2013 with the passing of Billy Ray Carter, Jr. at St. Francis hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this world felt a huge loss but Heaven welcomed one of their own. Billy Ray who was born August 7, 1982, in Claremore, Oklahoma was 31 years old. Although he didn’t live long on this earth, there wasn’t a person that he came in contact with that didn’t recognize his virtues and values. He was kind, gentle by nature, and he loved family first, football, and cars. When Billy Ray passed from this world to be with his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, he was surrounded by his family. Billy is survived by his mother, Rhonda Carter, son Blake Ray Austin Carter, grandparents Gammy and Papa, Billy and Sherry Hickman, sister, Sheresa May Carter, brother, Matthew Paul Carter, and a host of other relatives and friends. The viewing will be at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home on Thursday October 17, 2013, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The Funeral service will be on Friday, October 18, 2013, 2:00 pm. Revelation 21:4 King James Version (KJV) 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 1. Billy, you will be truely missed. Your heart was made of gold and your soul was sweet. I'm so blessed to be your sister n law. I can't wait to tell your beautiful niece all about you. This is so hard for me and everyone. But we will see you again. You may not be here in body but in spirit you are with us.I love you billy ray. ^|^

  2. My Beautiful Child that tought me how to really love and to know how to feel really blessed and loved as a mother should. You are the sunrise to a cloudy day. You were the Best son a mother could ever ask for and the best brother to your siblings. you stepped up to the plate on many occasions when it came to the care of others and was smart enough to know when to back up also and let nature take its course. I asked Jesus to let you be pain free and he granted my wish! I miss you son and mommy will be ok! You have many family and friends that are happy you are home with the lord and I need to just come to terms that Jesus is showing you the life that you always wanted to have with no interruptions of being sick no more! We miss you and we will see you very very soon again! With all my love, I love you…Momma

  3. Gammy & Papa says:

We have always prayed for Billy to be healed of His many health problems. We had hoped that the Lord would see fit to answer our prayers Now, God has finally given the Answer to those prayers. Billy is now Completely Healed and the Healing is Forever! Someday, as the Lord determines and according to His Will and Way; we shall be together again. Then it shall be as the Bible teaches; "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:4. This is our promise made possible through Faith in Jesus Christ. Because Billy trusted in Jesus – Billy is finally freed from pain and suffering. And now he is with the Lord forever. Looking forward to seeing you again, our beloved grandson.

Billy Ray..you never ever said a harsh word to"Aunt Teresa." You always loved me with the purest of love. You were kind, gentle and sweet. Thank you for taking such good care of your momma. We will love and miss you so much. Heaven received a glorious Angel on October 15, 2013. We wish we didn't have to lose you, but are so thankful that you don't have to suffer anymore. I was the first to hold you when you came into this world and the last to hold you when you went out. I am looking forward to you being the first in line to greet me when I reach those beautiful gates of Heaven. In the meantime, drive your new car over to my place and take a look around! I love you. Aunt Teresa
