Obituary

Blaine Edward Farmer, age 54, passed away on June 7, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born February 27, 1962 in Waterloo, Iowa to Edward James and Sally Lou Farmer.Blaine grew up in Tulsa and Catoosa area, graduating from Catoosa High School in 1980. He moved to Houston Texas to work and that is where he met his wife Vickie. They were blessed with 3 daughters and 1 son. Blaine enlisted in the Air Force on February 23, 1982, serving for 10 years making the rank of Sergeant before his honorable discharge. He was an avionics communications tech on the AWACS. After his service he was a machinist and a long haul truck driver. Blaine returned to Tulsa in 2012 to take care of his parents.Blaine is survived by his wife Vickie R. Farmer; daughters: Tabitha Farmer, Jaclyn Farmer, Amanda Pinter (Jerimie); son: William Eli Farmer and girlfriend Jamie; grandchildren: Kevanah, Karlie and one on the way; mother: Sally Hicks; siblings: Irene Farmer, Alice Pitts, Kristine Wilson (Tim), Kenneth Hicks (Natali); brother-in-law: Thom, Eldridge “Gene” Hicks (Sharon), Gary Hicks, Sherrie Johnson (Dave), Ronald Hicks (Veda) and numerous nieces and nephews.
