Obituary

Carla Marie Davis, age 47, of Claremore, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

Carla was born on November 25, 1976 in Leavenworth, Kansas. Carla was a beloved daughter, sister, and mother. At a young age, Carla and her family moved to Claremore where she was raised and attended school. Later in life, Carla had four children of her own: Jonathan, Ray, Rachel, and Melanie.

Carla will forever be remembered for her contagious smile and big heart. She made friends wherever she went and loved everyone.

Carla enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite saying when talk to her kids, nieces, and nephews was telling them,

“I love you to the moon and back”

Carla was preceded in death by father, George Basks, daughter,Melanie Davis, aunt, Nikita Basks, niece, Melanie Prescott, Amanda Prescott, Jessica Jones, and Eddie Jones.

Carla is survived by her mother, Helen Basks, children: Jonathan Legotes, Ray Woodson, and Rachel Woodson; siblings: Misty and husband Ely Woosley, Dana and Michael McKinney, Lesa Theis, Rita and Darcy Basks, and Johanna Basks; Serenity Reed and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins
