Carlos Gilbert Cervantes, age 64, passed away February 17, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Carlos was born December 10, 1951 in Riverside, California to Carlos Valenzuela Cervantes and Lydia Ramirez. Carlos’ joy in life was fishing and playing the guitar. He was most proud of being a Chicano, a Marine and proud of all of his sons and daughters. Carlos was always sociable and had a way of drawing good people to himself. He was respected and thought of highly by coworkers and his employers.Carlos is preceded in death by his father, one brother Richard Cervantes and one sister Irma Cervantes.Carlos is survived by his wife Rosa Ramos, of the home; mother: Lydia Ramirez; sons: Carlos Cervantes, Jr., Miguel Ramos, Ruben Cervantes, David Cervantes; daughters: Maria Castillo, Rita Gerdes; step-son: Juan Ramos; grandchildren: Frankie, Marcella, Helen, Vanessa, Michael and Gabriel; sisters: Irene Delgado, Gloria Rosas, Catherine Lopez, and Mary Duarte.
