Obituary

Carnell Ogans made his earthly debut on September 27, 1944, he was a bundle of joy, all ten (10) pounds, this joy was given to Carnell Ogans and Velma Bell (Record). He attended the Booker T. Washington School in Sand Springs and graduated with the class of 1962. Carnell was married to Zephyr Henderson Ogans for many years and to this union were two children, Jacquelyn Henderson and Rodrick Ogans. He is survived by his lovely wife Aretha Ogans of 42 years.

Children: Jacquelyn C. Henderson Draper (deceased) Rodrick M. Ogans (deceased)

Surviving siblings: Brothers: Nathaniel (Arnette) Herring; Lionel Ogans; Foster “Dickie” (Linda) Herring. Sisters: Charlotte Herring, Cathy Herring and Mary Duhart.

Carnell leaves daughter Nedra Henson, daughter in law, Tresa A. Ogans, eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. A special aunt Barbara Jordan and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Viewing for Carnell will take place on Friday, September 20th at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home from 12pm-5pm.

Services will take place on Saturday, September 21st, at 10am at New Joy Fellowship.
