Cecil Lenell Williams was born December 4, 1928 in Beggs, Oklahoma to J.J. and Myrtle Williams. At age 16 he moved to California where he lived for over half his life. He attended David Jordan High School; where he met and married Lorraine Walker. To this union four children were born. Cecil returned to Tulsa in the early 70s and was employed by the Tulsa Housing Authority. He retired in 1985. On March 11, 1992, Cecil was united in marriage to Irma Jean Brown of Sedan, Kansas. They were a compliment to each others’ personalities for almost 20 years. Cecil was a strong person who loved life. He was especially proud of his cars when he could drive. He often said what he meant, and meant what he said! He loved his children. He leaves behind to cherish his memories: his wife Irma Jean Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughters Diane Davis, Debra May, and Cecilia Williams, and one son, Cecil L. Williams Jr., all of Los Angeles, California; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and a step-son Larry Scarborough of Tulsa, Oklahoma. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends too numerous to name.
