Obituary

Celestine Louise Thompson, 85, passed into eternity at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Celestine was born December 10, 1928 to Holsey and Goldie Hitchye. She worked many years as a cosmetologist and owned her own business. Celestine leaves behind to cherish her memory two children, son, LaRue Thompson of Tulsa, OK and daughter, Sandi Gant(Don Caldwell)of Wichita Falls, TX; two grandchildren, DeMia and LaMarr; great-grandchildren: Ryan, Lorenzo, DeRon, Kaelen, ShaMarr, Nigel, Tyree, Nagia, Derrainn, Nevaeh and NinaRose; and one great-great grandson, LoRon. She is also survived by her nephew, Ricky Davidson of Fredrick, MD. Ms. Thompson is preceded in death by her parents, Holsey and Goldie Hytche; former husband, Jescenus Thompson; 1 brother, Marland Hitchye; 2 sisters, Jean Davidson and an infant sister. A Memorial Service will be held on 12:00 Noon, Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel.
