Obituary

Charles David Jenkins (preferred to be called David) was born to Anna Belle and Ray Jenkins on November 6,1947 in Tulsa, Ok. David passed from his Earthly home to his Heavenly home on June 4, 2023.

David grew up in Denver, Colorado and spent some of his youth with his beloved Grandmother, Rose Jenkins in
Tulsa, Ok. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening! He had a deep love for horses and had one up until the day he passed named Skipper. He had stated he felt freedom on the back of a horse.  In addition, David enjoyed family and holiday get togethers.  In the midst of battling cancer, he built a deck on the back of his house so the family could someday have barbecues on it.

David could build about anything he set his mind to build with his own two hands.  It may take him 10 years but he would do it until completion.

David is survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other family members including his brothers, Donald Jenkins of Broken Arrow, Ok,
Carl Jenkins of Denver, Colorado, and sister Diana
Spano of Denver, Colorado.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 5pm-8pm at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home.

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11am at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home.
