Obituary

Chester Perry, know to many as “Chet the Jet”, passed away Saturday morning July 19, 2025, at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma at 77 years of age. He was born January 25, 1948 to Addie Dixon in Los Angeles, CA. He attended several schools, graduating from Preston High School in 1965. Chester served his country in the United States Air Force. He then started his family and lived in lowa and California. While enjoying his family, he stayed active in providing for his family and his love of the outdoors, working on cars, riding motorcycles and being around family and friends. He was an active member Kingdom of Faith Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On March 5, 2022 he married Rosa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This union established a blended family with whom he enjoyed spending time.

On July 19, 2025, while at home with his loving wife by his side, Chester received the keys to his eternal heavenly home. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Salina and Zenobia. He leaves loving memories to his wife, Rosa and their children consisting of Steven, Dan (Kamechia), Kia (Mike), Kimberlee (Deonta), Talisa, Tonya (Ashley), Tammy, Yolanda and Nikia.

Their grandchildren Tykresha, Torian, Traivon, RJ (Leslie), Ciandra, Sasha, Jalen, LaTieana, Lynnisha, LaKeya (Tony), Corey, Cameron, Scarlett, Hudson, Danyel, Dan IV (Torey), Taylor (Danielle), Aaryanna, Zakyra (Kyle), Kiara, and Aldon. Great-grandchildren Elayiah, Dwayne, Dominic, Aaryiah, Adrien, Ameena, Adonis, Ayla, Dontavious, Noah, Elijah, Jashaun, Dakarai, Joshua, Kayden, Trai’son, Noah, Camden, Greco nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Chester’s warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved, and his presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
