Obituary

Cipriano Serna, Sr. was born in Donna, Texas on September 26, 1930 to Perfecto Serna and Elena Ibarra. He passed away on June 15, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cipriano is survived by his loving wife Teresa along with his children; Sylvia Sartin, Mario Serna (Kris), Graciela Brumley (Phil), Pedro Serna (Kay) , Elena Hancock (Raymond), Andres Serna, and daughter in law Judith Rich Serna. He will also be missed by his 22 grandchildren; Kendall, Marissa, Christina, Loren, John, Brian, Matthew, Tressa, Taylor, Charlie, Stacey, Michael, Michael D, David, Christina, Steven, Alysha, Isabel, Darianne, Jeremy, Christopher, and Nicholas. Along with his 31 great grandchildren.He is also survived by his siblings; Amalia Ybarra, Celia Vasquez, Alicia S. Alfaro, and Andrea Mundo. Preceded by his sons Cipriano Serna, Jr, Perfecto Serna, two great grandchildren; Emily Grace Farley, and Brandon Mitchell Herrera; son in law, Jerry Dewayne Sartin and daughter in law, Elena Herrera Serna.Services will be held on Tuesday the 20th of June, 2017 at the Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m.
