Obituary

On January 2, 1952 a baby boy was born to Nolene Manual and Otis David Graham in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Daniel Lee Graham passed peacefully from this life the morning of March 7, 2017. God looked around his garden and he saw a empty space. He then looked down upon this earth and saw Dan’s handsome face. He put his arms around Dan and lifted him to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, for he always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rougher and the hills were harder to climb, so he closed Dan’s weary eyes and whispered “My child…Peace be Thine”. Dan attended elementary school in Tulsa Oklahoma. He was a member of the  Booker T. Washington High School class of 1970. After graduation Dan left Tulsa and made his journey to Los Angeles California which led to his desire to become an Entrepreneur. He owned and operated many businesses. Once he returned back to Tulsa Oklahoma. Dan attended Claremore Jr. College were he majored in Business. In 1983 Daniel accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior and was baptized at Antioch Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. M.C. Potter. He was a faithful and dedicated worker involved in:  Men’s Auxiliary, Children and Youth Ministry, (He served as the Youth Coordinator for 3 years), Singles Ministry, Marriage Enrichment, Sunday School, Evangelism & Outreach, Assisted with community youth basketball teams and played on the ABC softball team. He was an honorary member of the 20 Gents. Dan was preceded in death by his Parents, Sister Charlotte Verner-Rudd. Precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of his children: Deon Graham, Claretha Mendoza (Juan) and Lilli Owens all of Tulsa Ok. Siblings, Sisters: Patricia Manual-Bryant (Robert), Claralyn (Keith) Allen, Felicia Morrow (Dewey) Ardelia Jackson all of Tulsa, Jacqueline Ragland (Rodrick) of Douglasville, GA, Willa Williams (Carlos) of Plano, Tx & Leslie Khalid of Tx. Three very special friends Jimmy Black, Edward Cox & Jimmy Moss.

“…Well done, thou good and faithful Servant:  thou has been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord (Math. 25:21-23) Truly the works you’ve done, and the lives’ you have touched have spoken for you. You’ve paid your dues, and you’ve put in your time. You’ve fought a good fight, and you have certainly kept the faith! Now is laid up for your crown of righteousness…Rest on and enjoy your “Servant’s Pay!”

We love you and you will be missed

Dear family may the love of family, the support of friend and many fond memories that you made over the years bring warmth to your hearts. Most of all allow the trust worthy promise of God to soothe in in the difficult days ahead. revelation 21:4 John 5:282,29

While grief at the loss of a loved one is great, joy at receiving back a loved one in the resurrection will be greater. (Mark 5:42) How satisfying it will be at that time to live in a world where there is no suffering!
