  1. I am truely saddened by the news of Darrell passing. My heart goes out to the family and friends. Darrell and I went to school together and he was always fun to be around. Rest in Peace Darrell.

  3. Our thoughts and prayers are with Darrell's family.

  4. I want to relate a story that I told at Darrell Lee's memorial service: I first met Darrell in 2nd grade. He was so cute and I had a crush on him. As 7 year olds do, I showed my affection by kicking him in the shin. He did not return my affections. A few years later my dad took Ron, Nancy & I to meet his new lady friend's family. We picked them up in our van. Linda got in first. She didn't look familiar. Kenny got in and I thought he looked a little familiar. When Darrell got in I was in shock. Did he remember that kick? A few months later Joann Jones married Charlie Jackson and they stayed married for 40 years until her death in 2005. So Darrell became my brother! We will all miss him and his quiet smile. 5. My deepest sympathy to Darrell's family. Darrell and Peggy were my classmates. There were 3 families that moved to Mountain Home the summer of 1968 and we all lived in same neighborhood. Even though Darrell did not live here, we always got to see each other at the Class of 73 Reunions' to get caught up. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
