Obituary

DeAngelo Lamont Williams August 9, 1967-April 29, 2015 DeAngelo Lamont Williams, son of Diana Holiday and Tanga Billy Williams, was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and known by most as “De” At a very young age it became evident that De welcomed new experiences and was very curious about how things worked. He was always taking things apart and putting them back together. In fact, every bicycle he owned ended up in parts and at one point were all over his mother’s garage floor. As he got older his interest evolved to tinkering with computers and repairing them. He spent the majority of his school years in the Union School District. According to his sister Dameka he never brought a book home, but passed all of his classes! He enjoyed sports and played basketball, baseball, and football while at Union. He also loved music and sang in a band he and his buddies formed called THRUST. After graduating high school he went to several colleges and graduated from Tulsa University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. He married Michelle Warrington in 1998 and from that union fathered Ericka and Brayden Williams and step-fathered Cody Scott. Throughout the remainder of his life he developed many interests: coaching, fishing, hunting, golfing, martial arts, and tattooing. De was a charmer! He had a smile that would brighten the darkest day and the twinkle in his eye was pure joy. He leaves behind a host of relatives and friends. De will be missed and loved. His life will continue to be celebrated by many.
