Obituary

Deborah Rhanee Alexander, 61 years of age, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2014 into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was united with St. John A.M.E. Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma at an early age with her mother, Clennie, grandmother, Willie Hall, and sister, Irene. She was a mother of one son, Cory Alexander and one daughter, Maryum Alexander. Deborah served on the board of commissioners for the Tulsa Housing Authority from 1990-1999 and was a maintenance worker for the Tulsa Housing Authority at Hewgley Terrace from 2000-2014. She was known for her gentle spirit and being a dedicated employee. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Clennie Gillespie; son, Cory Alexander; daughter, Maryum Alexander; four grandchildren, Tiffany, Raymond, Aaliyah and Johnetta Alexander; four great-grandchildren, Honesty, Naveha, Jason and Brinea; two sisters, Angeline Irene Moore (Louie Moore) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Janee Denise Jacobs (Rev. Jayel Jacobs, Jr.) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother, Booker T. Gillespie, Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma and other relatives and friends. A celebration of Deborah’s life will be held 11:00am, Friday, June 27, 2014 at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. Condolences may be sent through the guestbook on this page.
