Obituary

Deloris began her race when she was born to Sylvester James Colbert and Dottie Jean Stanley (Hunter). Deloris attended Tulsa Public School, graduating from Booker T. Washington in 1973.Deloris held various positions during her time of employment, but she found her passion for cooking. She loved to cook and try new recipes. She gained employment at Crow Creek Tavern where she was named the top chef. Deloris was devoted mother and loved he family. She will be missed by many, but most of all her daughter and son. The memories that Deloris leaves with each of us will forever be embedded in our hearts and bring comfort to our lives.Her father Sylvester Colbert preceded her in death, along with her step-father George Hunter, Sr., brother  Bryce Colbert and great grandchild Addison Fields. She leaves to cherish her loving memories her children: Katina Stanley, Currion Cooper (Mahogany); grandchildren Tre’ (Shay), Mikal, Nicholas, Nichol and Kaerein; great grandchild: Aiden. She is also survived by her mother Dottie Hunter and step mother Willa Colbert; siblings: Diana Hunter, Jerri Colbert, LaDonna Scott, Arbyn Colbert, George Hunter, Jr., Ronald and Scott Colbert; special friend Mickey C. Rose along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Viewing will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 1:00pm-8:00pm at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Gilcrease Hills Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Green Acres. Please sign the guestbook on this page.
