Obituary

Dennis Robert Kinnaman

Dennis Robert Kinnaman was born December 12th, 1942, to Robert & Clara Kinnaman in Centralia, Washington.  Growing up, he took music lessons and became very proficient in reading and playing the piano. When he was 16, he completed training at the United States Naval Training Center in San Diego, California, and later travelled the country, visiting every state, meeting new people, and making memories along the way.

Dennis made his way back to Puyallup, Washington, where he landed a job at Prossers Piano and Organ store, teaching others how to play the organ. There, he met the love of his life, Diane Lynn Bennett, married July 13th, 1972, and had their one and only daughter, Sandra Jean Kinnaman, April 5th, 1977.

Throughout his working years, Dennis was committed to ensuring his family was provided for. Although he befriended those he worked with, Dennis was, in fact, content to be at home in his chair watching television, having dinner with his family, or sharing the holidays with those he loved. Though he only had one daughter, Dennis was also “Dad” in the lives of those closest to her. In this way, Dennis demonstrated love not only for his daughter, but also for those she loves – touching multiple lives.

In 2017, he and his wife relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma to be reunited with his daughter Sandra, her husband David, and his grandson Emmanuel where he enjoyed his latter years watching his wife serve in ministry as a deaconess, his daughter becoming a minister, and his grandson graduate high school and technical college.

In December 2023, his wife and best friend of 51 years went to be with the Lord. Dennis is also preceded in death by his beloved mother, Clara and his father, Robert.

Cherishing his memories are his brothers Dale and Joseph Kinnaman (Wife Joy Kinnaman), his sister Kathleen Lott, his daughter Sandra Mason (Husband David Mason), and his grandson Emmanuel Mason.
