Obituary

Deshuttaney L. Mosley-Green, age 40 of Houston, Texas slipped into eternity May 30, 2025. Deshuttaney was the beautiful baby girl born to Del Mosley and Debra Oliver (Mosley) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

At a very young age she loved building and creating small figurines. As a school project she designed her own board game similar to Monopoly and called it Chocolate City. While attending middle school Deshuttaney became a part of the Technology Student Association, this is where her journey started for wanting to become a Mechanical Engineer. Graduating from Webster High School in Tulsa she was accepted to Oklahoma University to pursue her dream of becoming a Mechanical Engineer. After graduating with honors in 2009 she moved to Houston, Texas to be a shining star at Baker Hughes as a Mechanical Engineer.

She accepted Jesus to be her Lord and Savior as a young girl.

Deshuttaney was blessed with two beautiful daughters, DeAiriel Mosley and Keona Rushing.

She later entered into marriage to Damien Green and from that union Damien Green Jr. was born.

Deshuttaney loved her family and she loved helping people in anyway should could make life a little better for them.  She will be truly missed by many. Auntie Shuttaney made sure every birthday, holiday and graduations was well celebrated. She had a true givers heart with love enough to cover the sea.

Deshuttaney’s kindness, generosity, and heartfelt dedication to improving the lives of others will forever be cherished.

Preceding her in death are her son: Damien Green Jr. Grandmothers: Rosie L. Chinneth and Minnie Mosley. Grandfathers: Thomas Ross and Gecolar Mosley Sr.  Brother: Donte Covington. Uncles: Lewis Mack, Dennis Johnson, David Mosley, and Gecolar Mosley.

She leaves to cherish her memory is her husband: Damien Green of Houston, TX. Daughters: DeAiriel Mosley of Tulsa, OK. and Keona Rushing of Houston, TX. Parents: Del & Debra Mosley of Tulsa, OK. Two brothers: Dale Mosley of Seattle, WA, and Dwaunte Edwards of Oklahoma City, OK. Three sisters: Katina Andrews of Dallas, TX, Deshawntanara Edwards of Tulsa, OK, and her Baby Sister Debra D. Mosley of Tulsa, OK. Aunts: Rose Brown, Willa Woods, Lottie Mosley, Toni Burch, and Maxine Billingslea (Leory), all of Tulsa, OK. Wilma Jean Mosley of Tulsa, OK, Marjorie Richo (William) of Coweta, OK, Rosetta Curry of Wagoner, OK, Minnie Mosley of Tulsa, OK, and Louanna Keeler (Doc) of  Dallas, TX. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
