  1. Dixie was a sweet friend from years ago when Mike pastored the Federated Church in Burlingame, Kansas. What a kind and joyful spirit Dixie always displayed. Please know she is remembered by us and we send our sincere sympathy to her family and friends.

  2. A friend is the pillars on your porch. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes they lean on you and sometimes its just enough to know that they are standing. The comfort of having a friend may be taken away, but not that of having had one. Dixie was my friend and I will miss her. I know she is flying with the angels!!

  3. Dixie was such a sweet lady always willing to help or have a friendly smile to share with everyone. Heaven is a happier place with you.

  4. Dixie was the kindest person ever. She loved everyone and always had a smile for you. I saw her recently and she was the same sweet Dixie!

  5. So sorry for your loss! I met Dixie in 1983, which she was a Case Worker at Hissom Memorial Center, (Cottage #12). The children were boys from 12 years to 13 years old at the time, but all grown up today. They loved to see her unlock her office door, so they all would flock to greet her in the mornings. Dixie was well respected and the kindness person one could ever meet. Earlene L. Ola Earl Office of Client Advocate
