 Dixon “Budd” Wayne Graham

Dixon “Budd” Wayne Graham, age 76 years, 6 months, and 4 days, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home in Tulsa. He was born on April 20, 1949, in Hayward, California.

Budd was preceded in death by his mother, Vanita Means; his father, Roy Graham; and his brother, Chester “Chief” Green.

He is survived by his loving wife, Suzie Mathis; daughter, Jamie Dalton; son, Jimmy Graham; sister, Vivian Fulk; stepdaughter, Angie Mathis; and stepson, Rodney Mathis. He was a proud grandfather to DJ, Maya, Chelsey, Kassidy, Lily, Haley, and Jordyn, and a beloved great-grandfather to ten great-grandchildren.

Budd graduated from high school and went on to live a full and hardworking life. He served his country in the United States Navy from April 1967 to July 1971 as a Boatswain, earning an honorable discharge. Throughout his career, he worked as a draftsman and a truck driver, taking pride in everything he did.

He enjoyed riding his Harley, watching NASCAR, cheering on the Chicago Cubs, and was a lifelong fan of the Las Vegas Raiders. Budd was known for his loving and loyal spirit — a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cared deeply for his family.

In April 2017, Budd was baptized and became a member of God’s Shining Light Church, where his faith continued to grow.

His favorite quote was:

“Listen to the wind, it talks. Listen to the silence, it speaks. Listen to your heart, it knows.”

Budd will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him
