Obituary

Dollie A. Collins was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on August 21, 1949 to Samuel and Earnestine Howard. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and received her education through Pawhuska Public Schools.

Dollie moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1967 and met the love of her life, Elgene Collins, Sr. On March 2, 1970, they exchanged vows in Miami, Oklahoma. The couple shared 14 years of marital bliss.

Dollie worked for Munchie Power Products until she retired. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, taking road trips to Texas, and most of all, she really loved having Sunday dinners with her family.

Dollie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elgene Collins, Sr., daughter, Kim Collins, sisters, Edith Mae and Mosetta, brothers, Joe, Al, Eugene and Rodney Martin, sister in-law, Betty Hutton, brothers in-law, Herbert Collins, Jr., Ronald (Danny Boy) Collins, Sr., and other siblings and in-laws.

Dollie leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Richard Howard, Katina Collins (Joe Johnson), Elgene Collins, Jr., Odrenall Collins, step daughter, Beth Ann Miles, sisters, Sammie Etta Howard and Lisa Howard, sisters in-law, Edna Mae Pannell, Norma Jean Nickerson, Ruby Griffin, Alberta Collins, brother in-law, Michael Collins, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, best friend, Carla Martin, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, 1:00 p.m., at Fellowship Church, 570 N. Denver Ave., Tulsa, OK 74103.
