Obituary
Donald Ray “DD” Haff was born November 20, 1942 at the home in Ketchum, Oklahoma to Woodrow and Violet (King) Haff. He passed away on March 7, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 82.
Don graduated from Ketchum High School in 1960 and received an Associate’s Degree from the Oklahoma School of Business. He served four proud years in the United States Air Force from 1960 until 1964. He worked for Southwestern Bell for 33 1/2 years and served as Mayor of Ketchum, Oklahoma for four years. He was a member of the Inola Trinity Baptist Church.
Don married Carol June (Thompson) Haff on February 3, 1961 in Miami, Oklahoma. Don was a wonderful father who loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He taught his boys how to hunt and fish. He loved cooking restoring old cars, and had a passion for the OU Sooners since 1950.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: William Lee “Bill,” Woodrow Junior “Stink,” Bobbie Dean, Joseph “Joe” W., Gary R., and Dwayne “Wayne” Edward; and son, William David “Dave” Haff.
He is survived by his wife Carol of the home; sons, Donald Ray “Paco” Haff II and Robert Daniel “Danny” Haff and his wife, Leah; grandchildren: Morgan and her husband, Jesse Drosche, Sunnye, Courtney, and Karli; great grandchildren: Aubree, Braylon, Adeline, Aurora, and Lendric; brother, Charles “Charlie” Haff and wife, Regina; sister, Glenda Ivens; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
