  1. Dottie invited the Jr & Sr Missionettes to her house for tacos. I didn't like tacos, but I went. I got a big grease spot on my blue uniform skirt. That was the beginning of my life-long Mexican food craze! Years later as Coordinator, I walked in on her Rainbow class. She was teaching the story of Jesus multiplying the loaves of bread and fish, with the kids sitting on a blanket eating tuna fish sandwiches. I named the sock monkey she made me, Dorcas, after the woman in the Bible who made things for others. I will so miss my Dottie, my mom. Thank you for sharing her with me/us.

  4. I am deeply saddened to hear of this loss. I have so many memories of Dottie. I cannot remember a time not knowing her. I know that she is in heaven with Memaw, singing and glorifing God as she did here. She will be deeply missed and I know that in this time it s hard but remember she is in a better place. Please let me know if you need anything. With all my Love, Tracy Gray 918-833-1230
