Obituary

Dorothy Mae “Dottie” Traylor was born August 11, 1940 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to the parents of Ida Mae Goodloe and the late Elisha Traylor. She later moved to Tulsa to pursue a career in the medical field. After several positions at different clinics, she invested 16 years at Hillcrest Medical Center where she met and touched so many with her laughter and infectious smile. “Dottie” bore two sons and later married Albert Hill Jr. at the age of 35. She was a woman of character who loved to fellowship with people through her cooking (especially for the holidays). She has been to many more than a mother or a wife but an everlasting friend that offered wisdom and true love. Dorothy proceeds in death by her grandmother Osie Goodloe, her father Elisha Traylor and her brothers Henry Lee (T-Bone) Traylor and Robert Traylor. Dottie is survived by her husband Albert Hill Jr, Mother Ida Mae Brown, Brother Levell (Gloria Jean) Traylor and sister Velma McGhee. She leaves two children: Lamell Traylor, Michael (Renae) Traylor: 4 stepsons: Larry, Poochie, Tim & Michael Hill. Dorothy leaves behind four grandchildren: Richard (Tanika), Lamell Jr., Aisha, Whitney and Dorothy Hall. Ten great grandchildren: Adrianna, Ah’Nya, Dawaylon, Dezmond, Joelle, Kaleb, Kylee, Kiara, MaKayla & Quincy. Dorothy leaves everlasting memories with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Visitation for Dorothy is being held at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home Thursday, October 2, 2014 form 3pm-8pm. Funeral services are set for Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11:00am, Amazing Grace Christian Center, 4929 South Waco Avenue, Tulsa Oklahoma. Please take an opportunity and sign the online guestbook.
