Obituary
HENDERSON, Emma, 96, of Tulsa, OK, died on January 11, 2010. She was born February 2, 1913, in Sallisaw, OK to Shedrick and Georgia (Richardson) Mimms. She worked as a care provider. She is survived by a sister: Sandra Holloway; nephews: Chris Holloway; Asper Harper, Jr.; nieces: Chametra Holloway;Melba Goodman; Barbara Ann Harper; lifetime dear friends: Jane Sneed and her children, David Sneed; Elizabeth Sparks; and Thomas Sneed; friends: Tara Hill; Debra Wilson; and numberous other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Phillip Henderson; and siblings: Dorothy Mimms; Pascal Mimms. Viewing will be at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home, 2103 E. Third St., Tulsa, OK, on Thursday, January 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., at Crown Hill Cemetery, Tulsa, OK. Mrs. Emma was a delightful woman who never complained and always had words of wisdom to tell. We met her at the Manor Care Facility, while visiting our mother. She loved for us to bring her butter cookies and Snickers. She will be missed. –The Gardner, Ball and Anderson-Jackson family.
