Obituary
Eunice Mae Davis, age 66, of Skiatook, OK passed away on Tuesday evening, October 29th, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Eunice was born August 17, 1958, to Rebecca Loves Him and Ernest Owens in Poplar, MT. She was adopted by the Rev. A.L. Davis and Jewel Davis in 1959 and was raised in Rapid City, South Dakota. She attended Rapid City Central High School and graduated in May of 1978. She also participated in Haskell Indian School and moved to Washington D.C. where she met our father, William Abrams. She married William Abrams Sr. on November 6, 1986. She divorced him in June of 1996. Although this happened, they still stayed together.
She worked as a secretary for the BIA in Washington, D.C. in 1984 & ’85. Later she moved to Montana and attended Fort Peck Community College. She worked as a Substitute Teacher for the Poplar Middle/ High Schools.
Eunice enjoyed listening to music and doing word search puzzles. She also liked going for car rides. Her favorite animals were lamas, giraffes, and turtles and her favorite stuffed animal was a pig named Samantha. She liked watching movies and short TV shows and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her daughter Cassandra, and her 2 sons, Andrew and William Jr. all from Skiatook, OK; her grandchildren: Nicholas, Gabriel, Isabelle, William (Bubba) Ill., Trent, Tristian, and Kelsey; her grandsons Walter Loves Him of Apache OK, Willard Miller, Michael Loves Him, and Elwayne Rush Jr of Lawton OK; her sister Rhonda Owens of Poplar, MT.; Cousins: Lorien Haavik of Baltimore, Maryland, Joilynn Loves Him of Lawton, OK., Holly Harness of Washington D.C., Beth Davis-Jimenez of Punta Gorda, FL, Debbie Colgan of Poplar, MT, and Linda Desheuquette (Kay) of Fort Worth, TX.
She is preceded in death by her adopted parents, the Rev. A.L. Davis and Jewel Davis, and brothers Calvin Owens, William (Bill) Davis, and Bob (Rel) Davis.
