Obituary
Born in Moody, Missouri, on July 11, 1940 to Ray and Virginia Dorris, Flo Hoffman passed on February 27, 2013, surrounded by her family. A daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and community servant, Flo’s advocacy work for people with disabilities transformed a school system, and her work as a Girl Scout leader inspired young women. She is preceded in death by her father Ray Dorris, mother Virginia Blanche Hunter, son Rocky Hoffman, and granddaughter Elizabeth Hoffman. She is survived by husband Darrell Hoffman, daughter Debbie Hoffman, daughter Michelle Hoffman and partner Janet Walker, grandsons Patrick Hoffman and Darrell Brown, and great-granddaughter Baylee Hoffman. Services to be held March 5, 2013, 3:00 P.M. at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home. The family requests donations be made to Homelife Association, 5127 S Lewis, Tulsa, OK 74153, a community-based organization empowering the lives of people with disabilities. My prayers and thoughts are with Flo's family during this time of grief. My heart is flooded wih wonderful memories of her beautiful smile, loving spirit and infectious laughter. She will be deeply missed. I love you, Flo, and know that you are walking hand-in-hand with Jesus.
