Obituary

Flossie ‘Fern’ Kannmore, a long-time resident of Vinita, OK passed away peacefully while sleeping on June 27, 2022, at the Heartsworth House in Vinita, OK.

Fern is preceded in death by her husband, Vernis Kannmore, Sr., son, Wayne Kanmore, and daughters, Diane (Kannmore) Thomas and Elaine (Kannmore) Gipson.

Fern leaves behind two sons, Vernis William (Bill) Kannmore and Larry Joe Kannmore, both of Vinita. Fern also leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Fern loved living life, mostly when she was able to care for herself. She lived in her own home until she 101 years of age, then decided she was unable to care for herself. Fern loved God, family, friends, quilting, reading, planting, and NASCAR, especially NASCAR.

She will be missed by many, but just for a little while as she knows we will be reunited someday soon. Until then rest in peace.
