Obituary

Frank Jenks was born July 27, 1937 and went home to be with our Lord on January 31, 2015 after a long, courageous, 11 year battle with leukemia. He was born in a log cabin in Coon Holler, Arkansas. His family moved to Colcord, Oklahoma where he completed his schooling. Frank is survived by his wife of 56 ½ years, Norma of the home; one son, Ron Jenks and his wife, Jean; one daughter, Janet Jenks Clingenpeel and her husband, Alan; four granddaughters, Jenifer Hyams, Melissa Jenks, Taylor Clingenpeel and her fiancé Ben Doyle and Moriah Cieri and her husband Nick; two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyne and Brayden Hyams; sister, Naomi Owen and her husband, Bob; three sister-in-laws, Sue Jenks, Darla Jenks and Charlene Noe; one brother-in-law, George Noe and his wife, Barbara; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Ruby Jenks; his mother and father-in-law, George and Lorraine Noe; two brothers, Clinton E. and Richard R. Jenks. Services will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home with viewing at 1:00pm and service at 2:00pm.

    My family met Frank through his niece! I remember them letting us come over and get the rest of his tomatoes because they had bushels! He was very kind to us! I know he will be missed!
