Obituary

Frankie Lorraine Pershall, 85, born on May 24, 1926 in Pawhuska, OK went home to be with the Lord on Monday July 18, 2011 in Tulsa, OK surrounded by family and friends. Frankie married Burl J. (Pete) Pershall of Blackburn, OK on January 22, 1947. They had four children: Burl J. Pershall, Jr. of Laguna Nigel, CA, Lee Ellen Nuttle of Oilton, OK, James Earl (Rocky) Pershall of Tulsa, OK and Shawn White of Mannford, OK. Her grandchildren are: B. J. Pershall of Sausalito, CA, Rachel Pershall of Houston, TX, Melloria Reasor of Broken Arrow, OK, Opal Garman of Bixby, OK, Aaron Nuttle of Troy, VA, Jamie Ramsey of Broken Arrow, OK, Frankie Frieda of Tulsa, OK, E. J. Irwin, Jr., Jonathan Irwin and Peter Irwin of Cleveland, OK and Shawnna Goodell (Heaven)… A long time resident of Cleveland, OK Frankie graduated from Cleveland High School. While in high school Frankie worked for the Cleveland American. After high school she worked at Douglas Aircraft in Tulsa during WWII. After her marriage she worked for the Pawnee County Commissioner, sold real estate, operated Sew-Rite Draperies out of her home and also did income tax preparation until her retirement in 2007. Frankie had a great love for books and reading, gardening, traveling and playing cards and board games (as long as she won). But her greatest love was for the Lord Jesus Christ. Frankie moved to Tulsa in July 2009 to live with her son Rocky who cared for her until her death.
