  1. These past months have been very difficult but I know now that you are at peace and will suffer no more. You left such an impact on your family and there is a huge hole in our lives now but your love and the sweet and funny memories will live on in our hearts. We will miss your dry sense of humor and the way you so easily would diffuse a tense situation. Go and rest in peace little bro and give dad and big brother a hug from us. We love you and will miss you so but know we will be together again one day.

I love you with all my heart Uncle Rick, you had such a beautiful soul and a heart for people and injustice. I loved your humor and sarcasm ( that got on my nerves when I was a kid) your strength in what you believed and stood for without waiver was unmatched. I’ll carry you in my heart for the rest my days ..you will Never be forgotten. You’re in God’s glory for eternity and we will meet again.

    Uncle Rick,

You made an impact on everyone in this family. We will miss you and remember our much valued time together. All the young men in our family looked up to you and listened to what you said and did. I admired your confidence and all of your travels that you got to experience and, I personally reflect a lot on the stories you told me and conversations we had. Many times you knew how to say the right thing when others didn't. Thanks for encouraging me and understanding me. Love you Uncle Rick, rest easy.
