Obituary

Geneva Cliff Trent’s journey began on May 31, 1925 in Sandtown, Oklahoma. She was the fourth child born to Will and Bessie Cliff. Geneva received her formal eduation in the Sandtown School system. On August 9, 1947, she married Roy Keith Trent in Wagoner, Oklahoma. To this union two boys were born: Roy Keith Trent Jr. and David Lee Trent. The family relocated to Tulsa and she began her career as a Health Aide worker which she did until her retirement. Geneva was a 54-year member of First Baptist Church North Tulsa and was proud of the 50-year member pin that she received and wore. She was a longtime dedicated member of the Usher Board. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, three brothers, and her husband. She leaves to cherish her memory sons: Roy Keith Trent Jr. of Tulsa and David Lee Trent of Broken Arrow; sister, Sophronia Brown of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a host of other relatives, friends and her FBCNT family.

  1. To the Family, Iam deeply sadden by Mrs. Trent passing. I sent cards just to know how she was during. Sad news at church today of your passing.She was a sweet person, with a smile.May God who called our love one home and granted her peaceand rest.I pray that God will send his spirit down to smoothe each grieving heart.
