Obituary

Glenda Lee Dardenne, 75, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away on the evening of December 14, 2021 surrounded by her family.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Good News Church, 19529 E. 4th Pl., Catoosa, OK 74015.  

Mrs. Dardenne was born July 6, 1946, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Before retiring, Glenda was a medical transcriptionist for doctors in the Tulsa area. She was a beautiful artist who loved painting and giving painting lessons. She also loved gardening, flowers, and watching the birds. She loved all animals, especially her dog, Sugar, and cat, Lilly. Most of all, Glenda’s pride and joy was her family and friends, all of who she loved dearly.

Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Dardenne, her mother, Clara Buck, her grandparents, Roy and Nona Towns, her aunt and uncle, Myra and Harold Kerney.

She is survived by her father, Johnie Buck (97 years old), her son and daughter-in-love, John and Lanie Zane, her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Ron Whitelock, her grandchildren: Casey (Dustin) Essary, Kayla (DJ) Brillhart, Ambrea (Brad) Garrison, Clint Jackson, Nicole (Dusty) Richerson, Rene Humpries, Molly Malone, Michelle Malone-Dean, Jeramiah Malone, Roy (Melisa) Whitelock, and Matt (Meghan) Whitelock; along with 24 great grandchildren and her cousin and best friend, Carolyn Hemmert.
