Gloria Jean Pittman, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She was a devoted wife, sister, and a loving mother of six children: Timmy, Tawnya, Thomas, Steven, Jerry, and Ronnie. She is survived by five of her children, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother, Buddy Sneed, and her sister, Eva Geraldine Oliver.

Gloria was born in Camp Hood, Waco, Texas, while her father Garvin Lee Sneed was stationed there with the U.S. Army. Shortly after her birth, her parents, Garvin and Eva Sneed, moved the family back to Sulphur, where Gloria enjoyed a happy childhood with her sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Nita Hardin; her stepson, Jerry Pittman; and her beloved husband, Steven Pittman.

Gloria lived a life centered around family and love. She worked alongside her son, Thomas Pittman, for 15 years. After retirement, she spent the last eight years living with him, where they shared countless memories together. She cherished trips to the casino with her best friend, Tonya Partin, and treasured Sunday dinners with Thomas, Ashley, and Elizabeth, which always included games and laughter. On holidays, Gloria could always be found in the kitchen, joyfully cooking for her family and looking forward to watching Elizabeth open her presents.

Gloria was a kind and giving soul whose love for her family was unwavering. She will be dearly missed every single day.
