Obituary

Hector was the patriarch of the Santa Cruz family. He was a beloved husband of 40 plus years to the love of his life, Irene. Not only was he a loving husband, but also a son, brother, uncle, grandpa, mentor, and loving father. He fathered a family of 15 children who will continue his legacy and will continue to pass down the same knowledge and wisdom that he has laid onto them. He was a provider who stood on loyalty, respect, and always showed love. Hector was the rock to his family. He loved being out at the lake with his family enjoying, music and the blessings the good Lord gave to him and his wife. Hector was a man of God and he faithfully started his day with the word. He was the light in any room, a good laugh, and the “go to” in our family. He was always there to talk to, or have a good time. One thing about Hector he was a die hard Raiders fan. Sunday football was the best when we spent them him watching the games, eating good food, and just being around the family. There are so many things we can all say about how he impacted our lives. One thing we will always remember about Hector is he loved his family and Flores Putos.
