  1. Helen was my aunt and always so much fun. I know my mom Roena enjoyed visiting with Helen over the phone and was more of a sister to my mom than a sister-in-law. So sorry for your loss.

  2. Brittany N. says:

Granny was a special lady. She was loving to all and enjoyed having the children around. I remember her watching and smiling while the great-grand kids and their cousins riding in a trailer behind a lawn mover. I remember her coming to socia events and my grandmother looking forward to seeing her. She was a gentle spirit and I pray we get to see her again!

  3. Helen and I had a GREAT time filling in on a part-time basis when Ernie's store went on strike! We didn't last long as those frozen turkeys where heavy and cold but we sure laughed a lot! Also numerous fun times as co-den mother's! Very seldom in life you meet someone you can respect as much as I liked and respected Helen. RIP, Helen

  4. Mary Galazin says:

Helen's absence is strongly felt here on Marion street. She made me feel so welcome when I move in next door and I feel I did not get enough years with this wonderful neighbor. She loved children so much and was delighted when Hazel came along, then James. I hope someday we will meet again. Until then, she will be missed.

  5. I am very sorry for the loss of your dear loved one.Although,I do not know your family personally,i would like to share some encouraging thoughts from the Bible.God has promised to one day soon eliminate death forever, along with all sickness, pain and sorrow.(Rev.21:4) He has also promised to reunite us with our loved ones on a restored paradise earth. The Bible says he yearns to do this.(John 5:28,29;Psalm 37:11,29;job 14:14,15) I hope these scriptures will be of comfort to you and bring you peace as they have me.
