I met Helen through her daughter, Linda when we bowled on a league at Rose Bowl. Helen was a delight to be around & always had a big smile. She loved all her grandchildren and will be missed by her family and many loving friends.

it has been such a joy to feel like a part of this family for so many wonderful years..my deepest sympathy goes out to Helen's family ,Linda,Clay, and all of their dear ones who have shared so many precious memories from being held and read to,playing endless games, sharing always, events everyday and extraordinary…laughing, sharing celebrations..laughing some more..(getting them all together was always a lively and memorable event, laced throughout with wit and fun..and always laughter.I dont know where Helen got her sense of humor, but linda got hers from her mom, something i got to witness first-hand! The family reached out beyond relatives ;their family values and family traditions have touched so many lives.Though tomorrow be a cold blustery day,i know that Granny herself will be safe and warm in the hearts of those of us who will carry her in ours forever. even i whose most consistent act was eating most of her treats, before i got them to her..but oh, it took years and zane to make up that 'amish banana nut bread' to her! If you look at the image gallery here, you will see the intensity of her beautiful eyes that twinkled when she was amused to the very end of a long, loving and prosperous life. We honor her and her familiy tradidtion of love and appreciation…she was always her good looking, good hearted and exceptionally talented familie's biggest fan!we must keep her stories going forever.
