Obituary

Herbert Henning Styers passed away September 2, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born October 14, 1928 in Little Rock, Arkansas to James William and Augusta Ann (Henning) Styers. Herbert had many hobbies from stained glass, photography, traveling and reading. Herbert’s favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, serving as the Sunday School Superintendent and Sunday School Teacher. The three words that sum up Herb’s life are: Compassionate, Patient and Witty.Herbert is preceded in death by his siblings: Wilma, James, Grady and Charlie.Survivors include his wife: Rubysue Styers; children: James (Pam) Styers, Steve (April) Styers, Don Styers, Martha (James, Jr.) Baldwin; grandchildren: Lee Baldwin, James Baldwin, Lesley Baldwin, Ambre Weston, Vanessa Stephens, Doug Styers, Matthew Styers, Maddy Styers, Josh Styers, Kristen Styers and Collin Styers; great-grandchildren: Nichole, Houston, Ali, Cassy, Cole, Isaac, Savannah, Audrey, Caroline, Jack along with other loving family and friends.
