Jack Richard Lairmore

January 19, 1953 – October 2, 2021

Jack Richard Lairmore passed from this life October 2, 2021. Remembering his impeccable personality will be a comfort to us. His quick wit and unique sense of humor lit up any room. He built his  life around providing love and comfort to his family and those he cared about. He celebrated his love of music and dancing throughout his life. He often told friends and family “carpe diem, seize the day,” a motto by which he lived.

Jack was born on January 19, 1953 to John L. and Neva Belle Lairmore, the youngest of their four children. He played multiple sports, graduating from Edison High School in 1971. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 584. He was also active in the Akdar Shriners. He was proud of his Muscogee (Creek) Nation heritage and wrote for the tribal newspaper in the 1970s.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years Karen (Lord) Lairmore, his son Kyle Jackson Lairmore, and daughter Kayla Marline Lairmore. He is also survived by his sisters Carolyn James (E. Clark) and Martha Lairmore (H. Leon Mullis) and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
