Obituary

 Jake Osborne, Jr. was born and raised in Alsuma,Oklahoma. He served with the United States Army beginning in 1960 until 1963. Jake was a hard worker who loved and took care of his family and was a good friend too many people.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

 

Those left to cherish Jake’s memory include his children: Gregory Charles Osborne and wife Patricia Osborne of Marrietta, Georgia, Karen King (Woodley) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lisa Osborne of Houston, Texas, and Rhonda West (wife of the late, Terry West) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren: Jason King and wife Kerry Anne King, Kahlil King and wife Kelsey King, Krista Osborne, Amber Osborne, Mia West, Leah West and Keondre West; 2 great grandchildren, London King and Carter Hendrix West; and step-brother, Calvin Osborne of Washington D.C.

 

Our father lived life to the fullest and loved his children. Please keep our family in your prayers.

  4. The Stanley Family was from the same home town as the Osborne's. Our prayers are truly with this family at this time. May the Lord bless you and keep you in perfect PEACE.

  5. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Uncle Jake in person, we communicated by letter after I reconnected with my father’s side of my family. His letters were full of kindness and concern and gentle advice, also a very funny sense of humour! and he provided me with all the wonderful photos of family members, including ones of my father Mervin, that I had never seen.
    I grieve his loss as the ‘last of the 8’ but am confident that with the now all being together they will be keeping an eye out for all of us.
