Obituary

Jakobe Antonio Waldon, loving called “Kobe,” was born on April 12, 2006, in Tulsa, OK to Erica Joseph and Warnett Waldon, he was twin number 1. Jakobe and his twin, Jakob, were welcomed into this world by his big sister, Tos’Janae, and a big brother, Warnett Jr., and later joined by a littler brother, King.

Kobe was a strong, brave, happy person and full of joy! He loved his time in school. He attended Skelly Elementary, Union Middle and Union High School and then completed high school in May 2024 at Memorial High School.

Kobe loved his family and friends. He loved a daily routine and looked forward to stretching and daily massages! He enjoyed getting his hair and scalp massaged. Kobe found humor and joy in being around people, he would laugh if anyone got in trouble. And sometimes laugh at people if someone scared them. He would laugh all day at his friends in class. He loved spending time with his memaw and papaw, Mary and Shamos Joseph . He loved laughing at his brothers, King and Jakob, fuss and fight. His big sister, Tos’Janae and big brother, “Bubba” could always get him to smile or laugh. He loved all his siblings dearly and they took great care of him. They knew what he wanted or needed. He enjoyed listening to music also watching “Family Guy” or watching his brothers play the videos games. He was tickled any time he heard bad words, that really entertained him.

Kobe loved his parents, siblings, family and friends, teachers and healthcare team. Kobe’s purpose was to bring joy and he did that daily. He left his print on anyone who met him. No matter what he went through he faced it with strength and confidence along with a sense of humor.

Kobe leaves to cherish his precious memories, his mother and father, Erica Joseph and Warnett Waldon, his siblings: Tos’Janae Waldon, Warnett Waldon, Jr. “Bubba,” Jakob Waldon, and King Waldon; along with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of family and friends. He will be welcomed in heaven by a host of great grandparents, and uncles.
