June 02, 1970 - January 18, 2020

Jeffrey “Bodean” Alan GowerJeff left us and this earth on January 16, 2020. Jeff was a caring, compassionate, funny and patient person. Anyone who encountered him would be met with a smile and humor to lighten their heart. Jeff had a love of music and was a talented guitar player. He had a special love for all 80’s music and 80’s movies, in particular John Hughes’ films as well as being able to quote every line from Weird Science and Blazing Saddles. Jeff loved his football, rooting on the Pittsburgh Steelers and the University of Oklahoma Sooners. He was an accomplished soccer player and always had a passion for the beautiful game. Jeff dedicated his entire adult life to the care of others as a Certified Nurses Aide. His clients would always ask for him by name as Jeff had a way of making them feel special as though they could do no wrong. That was Jeff. He was the person you would call when in need of anything while additionally, being the amazing person he was, never making you feel negative about it and just simply helping you because you asked. Jeff has left a massive void in this world of loving, compassion and patience that will be difficult to fill. His educational achievements include an Associates Degree and twenty years as a Certified Nurses Aide. He is proceeded in death by his Father Billy Gower and his Grandmother Colleen Burke. He is survived by his Daughter Sophia Gower, Grandchildren Vincent Gower, Ava Thomas and Madeleine Thomas, his loving Parents Diane Gower-Patterson and Robert Patterson, Brothers Matthew Gower and Stephen Gower as well as many loving Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and Friends.           In lieu of flowers or cards, the family would ask that you make a donation in his name to Dress for Success, of which his Mother has volunteered for years, at the link listed below. A celebration of his life will be planned and details will be forthcoming.
