Obituary

John (Jack) Guillory was a strong willed man who dedicated his life to family, loved ones, and friends. He was truly unique to his goodness. John was born on October 26, 1924 in Huffman, Oklahoma, the son of Beatrice Guillory and John Guillory. Beatrice and John transitioned early in life, leaving Jack and his seven siblings to the care of a remarkable woman, “Aunt Marie Herron,” who single handedly raised the eight children. To which several generations have the honor of carrying the great name “Marie”. He met the love his life, Bobbie Guillory, in the early 1940s. To this union they raised four children. They joined Paradise Baptist Church, where he was an active member for over 65 years. Jack was a conscientious and devoted father, grandfather, and uncle, being generous with his love and time. He and his wife, Bobbie had an amazing way of making holidays special and exciting for his family and friends, memories of which will be cherished forever. He began his career at Packard Motor Company, which nurtured his love of cars both old and new. He later worked for City of Tulsa until retirement. Also he had a passion for horses and was socially active in the Branding Iron Saddle Club. He leaves behind to cherish his memory three children, Patricia A. Wooley (James), Phyllis “Marie” Fellows (Lawrence), Jacqueline M. Bowlin deceased (William), John Guillory III (Michelle). Twelve grandchildren, James “Jayce” Wooley deceased, Justin Wooley, Tanya “Marie” Fellows, Dawn Fellows, Brandi Fellows-Willis, Marcus Bowlin, Shella Bowlin, Machoe Edwards, Kei-Shonna Guillory (deceased), Shannon Guillory, Chelsea Guillory, Johnnie “Marie” Guillory, several great grandchildren, his loving care taker Barbara Burns, and a host of other relatives and friends.
