Obituary

Johnny Lee James Harrison Jones was born June 23, 1964 to his mother Ernestine Jones Harrison and father Johnny L. Harrison in Bristow, Oklahoma. Johnny was the first born of five children. He attended Bristow Public Schools where ha was active in football and basketball.Johnny loved fishing and spending time with his family, friends, and most of all his horses. He was very difficult, caring, out spoken man who loved by all and most knew him in his older days as “Pops”. Johnny was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver in 2011. He had been receiving treatment and was hopeful for a liver transplant soon. Sadly he lost the battle on January 19, 2016.Preceding him in death are his grandparents, mother, father, his third son Sidney J. Beard and many other loved ones.His survivors include, his one and only daughter Kenyana L. Beard and family; his sons: Johnny J. Harrison, Davion M. Beard; step-son: Chazrae J. Beard; eleven grandchildren; brothers: Bob Harrison; sister: Beatrice Harrison along with a host of other loving family and friends.
