Obituary

On November 6^th, 1955, a precious baby girl was born to Eddie and Cleo Owens. They named her Juanita; she was one of the three oldest girls in addition to the Owens Family.

Going on in Juanita’s life she attended Tulsa Public Schools and after her completion Juanita became a very God Gifted woman. She was gifted in make-up, hair, interior designing, art, cooking, dancing, and restoring!

She loved being a mother, always designing Taras’s room, dressing him in the latest fashion clothing and shoes. Juanita was a beautiful, classy, and down to earth woman. She spent her entire life expressing beauty and love.

Juanita leaves to embellish her memory: her son Taras Lamont Owens (Rhonda), 2 grandchildren, Taras Coleman Owens (Shiriah), Taressha Coleman Owens, 10 great Grandchildren, Trinity, Serenity, and Kennedy Coleman Owens, Zissoui Jones, Kaedynce Ellis, Arion & Armani Brown, Harlem Williams, Dillion & Demi Robinson. ! God daughter Ashlee Adams and her beautiful 6 children; Wayne, Jaden, Braylan, Cameron, Alyssia, and Addisyn.

Her Mother and Father Cleo and Eddie Owens, Brothers: Johnny Lee Owens, Buddy Joe Owens, Leonard(boo) Owens, Deon Owens, Her sisters: Mary, Shelley, and Mikki whom she all proceeded in death.

Her brothers & sisters are still on earth; Joyce Kollie (Henry), Loyce Owens, Barbra Owens, Sharon Owens, Linda Owens, and Tamara Owens all of Tulsa Oklahoma. Then there’s a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends who will greatly miss her.

Visitation for Juanita will be held on Friday, May 31, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home, 2103 E. 3rd St., Tulsa, OK 74104.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 1:00 p.m., at Greater Mt. Carmel Church, 2037 N. Utica Ave., Tulsa, OK 74110.
