Obituary

On October 12, 1950, Larry Eugene Carey, also called “Larry Long” was born in an all black hospital. He was born to parents; Imogene and Kelly Carey, Sr, both deceased, at the Morton Hospital in North Tulsa which was located on Greenwood Street and Pine Street.

Larry leaves to cherish his only brother, Kelly Carey, Jr., his son, Keenan Jackson as well as his three children. Also left to cherish his memory are half-brothers, cousins and many friends that loved and cared about him.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 2:00pm-8:00pm at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Friday, January 17, 2020 at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home Chapel.
