Obituary

Larry K. Gist, age 69, passed away September 5, 2014 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Larry was born January 24, 1945 in Abilene, Texas to Horace Lee and Ina Lee (Elam) Gist. Larry worked for many years as a salesman in the oilfield industry, spending all his spare time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Larry is survived by his wife Cherryl of the home; sons: Randy Gist of Abilene and Rodney Gist of Bixby, Oklahoma; stepchildren: Trace Winget of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Sherilyn Hoeltzel of Crescent, Oklahoma, along with fifteen grandchildren. Larry is preceded in death by his parents Horace and Ina Gist. Visitation is being held 4pm-8pm, Monday, September 8, 2014 at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home.
