Linda Langrum was born into this life on December 31, 1956, in Dallas Texas, to Lucy Nell Jenkins and Lawrence Langrum, both preceded in death. Linda was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. On September 9, 2025, she made her transition to be with Lord.

She was also preceeded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Langrum, two sister’s Shirley Langrum & Pam Langrum & two brother’s, Albert Langrum & Rory Langrum.

Linda accepted Christ in her life at a very early age. She attended New Birth Baptist Church located in Dallas, Texas. This is where she loved to sing and learn about the love of God.

Linda was a radiant light that shined into the hearts of others. She was like a rose petal that would open up and with each petal brought about the meaning of love, happiness and joy. May the life she lived upon this earth be a stepping stone to those who yet remains by putting God first in your lives and seeking to do his will.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Tosha Cowans (Nicole), granddaughter, Desiree “DeeDee” Cowans (Devareaux), grandson, Bobby Cowans, great grandson, Tru Lofton-Cowans, favorite cousin, Sharon and a host of cousins, adoptive family members, the Cowans/Turners, relatives and friends.
